Robson Street Shopping
Head to the main and most popular shopping strip in Vancouver, known as Robson Street. There are so many shops to browse in—Roots Canada, Armani, Aldo, Payless Shoes, Bebe, American Eagle Outfitters, M.A.C and more. There are also many restaurants along this strip if you get hunger pangs—try CinCin Ristorante, Earls, Moxie’s or Milestones.
Metropolis at Metrotown
With over 470 stores, games, theatres, and places of fun, this is a great place to go for the day and explore all of the stores. You might not get through them all in one day, but you can always return. There are restaurants within the mall as well so you can take a break every now and then.
Pacific Centre Mall
Known as a landmark within downtown Vancouver, the mall is located at 910 – 609 Granville Street and you can call for info at 604-688-7235. This full-size mall has shops like Le Chateau, Aritzia, La Senza, Club Monaco, Daniel Leather, The Gap, Guess, Hugo Boss and Harry Rosen.
Sears Canada
Located at 701 Granville Street, Sears Canada is a great place to find what you want. With menswear, kid’s toys, ladies wear, household items, camping items, electronics, jewelry and more, there is much to browse through and buy. They also have health, eyesight and dental services, as well as a travel agency.
Sinclair Centre
Located at 757 West Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver, the Sinclair Centre has a variety of posh and discount shops. Some of the shops are Pro Nails, Castle Milano, Leone Boutique, The Perfume Shoppe, Sinclair Law Services, Sinclair Travel and Diamond Deals. There is a Morton’s Steak House in the backend of this mall, as well as a food court for people to grab a snack.
Richmond Night Market
One of the largest Asian Markets in North America is the Richmond Night Market, also known as the Summer Night Market. There are numerous shops, discount deals and Asian dishes to try when you are there. It is definitely an event that you can stay at all day. Located at 12631 Vulcan Way in Richmond, this annual summer event is great for families.
Park Royal Centre
Located at 2002 Park Royal South in West Vancouver, this shopping mall is a mix of markets, a grocery store, art stores, bookshops, children’s stores and more. They have department stores like the Bay and Winners, too. It is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the drive over the Lion’s Gate Bridge is breathtaking.
Chinatown Night Market
The Chinatown Night Market has been a hit with tourists for years and has a wide selection of Asian treats and dishes, galleries, events, fashionable gifts, modern electronics, crafts and more. People come from all over Vancouver and beyond to visit this popular night market. Located at 508 Taylor Street, this market is a great night out for travelers.
Granville Street Shopping
Granville Street isn’t only for entertainment, dining and clubs; it is also a shopping district. Visitors can visit the discount shop Winners on the corner of Granville and Robson or shop through many of the funky stores along Granville Street. There is also a dollar store, Claire’s Accessories, London Drugs and more if you walk north on Granville. If you walk south on Granville you will find punk shops, an Aldo discount outlet and music stores.
Hudson’s Bay Company
Located at 647 Granville Street, The Hudson’s Bay Company is a huge department store. With departments such as ladies wear, menswear, electronics, camping gear, housewares and more, you will find exactly what you are seeking. This store also has SkyTrain access from the bottom floor, as well as postal services and a fancy deli from which you can buy decadent treats.
